OH! But before you do, let me pimp Peter M. Ball's story 'On the Destruction of Copenhagen by the War-Machines of the Merfolk', which was published in Strange Horizons earlier this year, and which also appears on Locus' RRL. Yes, Peter has other works on this list (which is fantastic for both him and for Twelfth Planet Press!) but I really, really like this story in particular. So let me add my recommendation to Locus' on that one.
